Mojo Monday #283

Hello!! Welcome to Crafting With Carolyn!! Today I am participating in Mojo Monday #283. Better late than never ... right??? I've had a lot going on the past few weeks and nothing cheers me up faster than CRAFTING!! It's a gloomy rainy Saturday here too so it's perfect.

My husband's birthday is TOMORROW! How did that happen?? I thought I'd make the Mojo card and his birthday card as one and the same.

My husband LOVES everything Superhero so I dug out some of my old Close To My Heart Superhero paper and rub-ons and whipped up this card. I started with a white card and added the red base. For the plaid bottom I just cut slits into the rectangle piece of paper and wove strips vertically. I folded the ends over and used my atg to glue them. The "POW" is a rub-on. I put it on white cardstock and trimmed it as much as I could. The Happy Birthday is stamped twice it looks kind of blurry in the photo but up close it has a more 3D effect. I used the Close to My Heart Joyful Birthday to stamp that.

Here is the inside of the card. Nothing says Happy Birthday like a little WHAM! hahaha. I hope you enjoyed my card. It was fairly simple to make, I only used the cricut to cut out one circle!
