Chantilly Go Green!

Hello all!! Welcome to Crafting With Carolyn!! I have been one Crafty Mama today!! Two cards, two sketches and two challenges!!

I used the theme from the Heart 2 Heart Challenge this week which was Go Green and the sketch from Mojo Monday #284 to make this card.

Again, I didn't add a sentiment because I like to keep blank cards on hand for those Oops!! Moments when I need a card FAST! To make this card I used Close To My Heart paper from the Chantilly paper pack and also some Pear cardstock and White Daisy cardstock. I added a 3D Bow for the CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  I have to admit, I had an accident with my bow and dropped it when it was wet. I am going camping Wednesday and wanted to take the photo now so I just snapped it even though it's not so pretty. All of the green in the center is pear and white daisy. Can't see the White daisy?? If you look at the border around the center that is white daisy and I just used a sponge dauber to make swirls with pear ink!! The photo makes it look more GREEN than it is but it is very green. Too much green?? ....I'll leave that up to you to decide. I have some friends who LOVE green and I think I know the perfect home for this card.

I'm SO happy to be crafting again!! Love finding my Mojo and inspiration from Mojo Monday and the Heart 2 Heart Challenges!! I look forward to doing more. Hope you come back and see what I'm up to!! Thanks for stopping by. Now go get your Mojo back and take on some challenges of your own!!

    1. I think it's an issue on Blogger. I have clicked follow on several blogs that I KNOW I already follow too. Thanks, I wanted to use MORE green believe it or not but it would've been a hulk card if I added anymore!! :D

  6. Carolyn -

Just the right amount of green for me! I had to chuckle over your comment about dropping your bow when it was still wet - that is something that I would totally do - or touch it to see if its dry and completely smear it. I'm not a very patient crafter at times!

Thanks for sharing your lovely artwork with us at Heart2Heart challenges this week! I'm very glad you've got your mojo back!

    1. Haha, glad it make you chuckle Paige! I thought it was funny because I just told my daughter not to touch because it was still wet. Then I dropped it.
